Jürg Nänni died on 28 January, 2019 in Bali, his last dream location. A memorial service for Jürg Nänni was held in the FHNW auditorium in Windisch on 22 March, 2019. Franz Hohler, Roman Signer, Hans Knuchel, Christoph Sibold, Conrad U. Brunner and Alfred Kölliker paid tribute to Jürg Nänni and his work as a physicist, artist and teacher. Michael Nänni showed Jürg’s last phase of life and the funeral service in Bali. Susanne Lang on the grand piano provided a dignified setting for the ceremony with music by Beethoven, Schubert and Debussy.
